All Purpose Coatings (APC) is a family-owned national company specialising in the design, formulation and manufacture of premium protective floor coatings for residential, commercial, industrial and government sectors.
Founded by CEO Charmaine Ashford and Managing Director Christopher Ashford, the company draws on their extensive experience in the application and manufacturing industries.
Proudly Australian Made, APC oversees the entire process from concept to completion, ensuring high quality manufacturing every step of the way. APC products are designed, developed and tested in a variety of conditions, from small residential garages to large scale civil projects. Our dedicated and passionate team remains at the forefront of the market, embracing emerging technologies and continuously redefining the coatings industry.
Manufacture, supply, repeat
The company-owned manufacturing facility in Bundamba, Brisbane, produces a large range of epoxies, urethanes, polyaspartics, flakes & related coating products, offering decorative, protective and long term flooring solutions. With branches in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, as well as an extensive distribution network, products are easily accessible throughout Australia and the South Pacific.

The company’s ongoing implementation of processes and procedures, supported by state-of-the-art technology, has several accreditations, including APAS Australia Paint Approval Scheme, ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System, ISO 45001 Safe Management System and recognition as a Federally Recognised Manufacturing Unit. With over 20 years of industry experience, APC is ideally positioned to offer high quality, hands-on training courses for new installers or experienced professionals seeking to learn the correct installation techniques for APC products and systems.
Our trainers are licensed and accredited, with extensive industry experience both on-site and off in Australia and the South Pacific. They bring a wide range of application expertise to share with others.
APC has dedicated training facilities in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, offering trainees a hands-on learning experience. The training includes large areas of application being completed over a 3-day period, along with an easy-to-understand theory component and a take-home educational manual.

Our research and development team, led by industry experts with over 30 years of experience in coatings, focuses on enhancing product design and performance through rigorous real-world testing, industry expertise, customer feedback and laboratory analysis.
With ISO 9001 Accreditation and registration as an APAS Recognised Manufacturing Unit, APC is equipped to design, formulate and manufacture products for any project's coating requirements. To ensure precise results during product testing and development, APC's laboratory is climate controlled and equipped with approved weights, mixers, slip testing devices and other essential testing equipment.
