How the Metallic Marble System Works
The process starts with a prime coat and a base coat of EPO100T® Tinted Epoxy, which gives the system its foundation. Then comes the magic: our EPO100G® Epoxy Glaze, a clear, high gloss epoxy, is mixed with your choice of metallic tints or pigments.
As the metallic coat cures, it naturally flows, moves and blends to create the distinctive marble-like patterns the system is known for. The result is a surface that looks both organic and luxurious, almost as if the marble has formed in place.
About 24 hours later, two UV-stable topcoats are applied. These protect the surface from discolouration and lock in the depth and movement of the metallic design.
